Featured Blog – Superhero Hayden by Haole Girl Photography

We are fortunate to blog with so many amazing photographers all over the country, and we want to take the time each week to share a favorite blog from our archives. These won’t be new blogs, but ones that have stuck in our heads long after we helped to craft them. Without further ado – our first blog is from Haole Girl Photography – a Newborn, Maternity and Family photographer from Honolulu, Hawaii. Normally, we blog about her beautiful images against Hawaii sunsets, but she photographed this session in her home studio, and it just stuck with us.

Excerpt:

I offered to do a session with Hayden because she was being teased by some neighborhood children for having a feeding tube. She even went so far as trying to cut out the tube to avoid being different! We wanted to help her celebrate who she was and what she was capable of, so we had a “super shoot.” Hayden absolutely LOVES superheroes, and her mom and I turned the whole session into a superhero day—and even Spiderman popped in for the shoot!
