WordPress Tip – Change your Timezone!
Here at Fotoskribe, we talk a lot about scheduling your posts in advance. One thing that can actually hinder that process is if you don’t have your WordPress timezone set to the same timezone you live in. The default setting is always UTC, also known as GMT (Greenwich Mean Time = somewhere around England). So we wanted to share a quick tutorial on how to change that.
Change your Timezone in WordPress
1 – Go to the Settings tab and choose General. This can be found in the left-hand menu in your WordPress dashboard
2 – Change the Timezone from “UTC” to a major city near you. {New York for EST, Los Angeles for PST}
Note: it will automatically account for daylight savings time.
And that’s it! Now you are ready to schedule your posts out at the same day and time each week! If you need help with the planning of these blogs, please feel free to contact us. We would be happy to help!
